Crocs, Inc. said Charlie Johnson has recently filled the newly created Global Creative Director position. Chris Ladd was appointed VP of Global eCommerce.


The company said Johnson, a veteran with more than 20 years in the footwear industry, will lead the effort to strategically align all Crocs’ global creative efforts including product design, marketing, and merchandising. Building on his eight year tenure with Adidas International where Johnson was instrumental in establishing marketing methodologies, footwear concepts and global brand strategies, he will now be responsible for integrating all brand visuals including retail
merchandising, advertising, mobile marketing and other creative
elements.

 

Bringing more than 13 years of global experience and expertise in
eCommerce and internet marketing to the Crocs’ management team,
Ladd will spearhead efforts to enhance Crocs’ global internet business.
Prior to joining the Crocs team, Ladd served as Director of Interactive
Marketing and eCommerce for Titleist and FootJoy Worldwide. He
previously held the position of Interactive Marketing Manager for Reebok International as well. Crocs said that throughout his career, Ladd has been successful in developing strategic eCommerce practices for a number of clients in the footwear and outdoor industries.
