The intensely popular Crocs comfort clog is being joined by a boot, a flip-flop, a boat boot and an expanded kids line for Spring 05.
The company that took the outdoor industry by surprise in the past year with its lightweight foam sandal has now created a thermo-moldable flip-flop-the Athens-with an ultra-suede foot bed with wicking and antimicrobial properties. The Athens will be available in 14 colours and 11 sizes this spring.
Crocs has also introduced a new rainboot concept that could soon have applications as a winter boot. Just as light and colourful as their Beach cousins. Initially expected in limited colours and quantities, Crocs hopes to have the boot outfit with thermal insulation in the not-so-distant future.
As well, Crocs has applied a leather top to its popular Beach model to create the Newport, available in fall 05. The Newport has top-sider look about it with the same bright colour offerings that made the Beach such a hit.
The company has also broadened its kids line, with a full range of sizes, from 8 to 13 and 1 to 4, and has added lime, fuchsia and chocolate to the colour mix of the Beach.
