Craft, the maker of functional sportswear, has significantly bolstered its North American sales and marketing departments with the addition of Amber Nero and Scott Parr as national sales team managers.

These hires parallel Craft’s increased focus on growth and marketing of the multifaceted performance brand in the North American market.

As the national sales manager of the Canadian division, Nero will be spearheading the newly-formed Canadian business unit, responsible for the overall success of sales, marketing, and execution of the Canadian Region. Nero has proven abilities as a leader capable of driving sales and logistics, and expertise in forecasting and managing operational costs. Based in Montreal, Nero has seen success operating throughout the Canadian market, through roles as national sales manager at Reef, a division of VF Outdoor Canada Inc., and as Canadian country manager at Peak Performance.

Parr steps up as the director of wholesale sales for the USA after his most recent tenure as vice president of sales for Ibex Outdoor. There, he oversaw wholesale sales for all international and domestic retailers. Prior to IBEX, Scott worked as president of CLSG Sales & Management Consulting, where he provided sales consulting services for companies looking to increase profits and distribution in the outdoor sports and recreational department. This experience, plus his past work with the cycling and running brand Sugoi, aligns with Craft’s efforts to focus on growth via specialty retailers.

Eric Schenker, the CEO of Craft in North America, said, “These are critical hires for us, and the culmination of a real investment in the market. Craft is the finest performance apparel brand worldwide, and we’re rolling out a significant expansion here, starting with our legendary base layer category presence that will see the debut of our Fuseknit technology at Outdoor Retailer. We’re thrilled to have both Amber and Scott.”
