GiantMouse, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), has recalled GiantMouse GM12 and GMP12 Folding Pocket Knives due to laceration hazards.
The CPSC announced the recall today, January 23, noting that the folding pocket knives’ locking mechanism could fail, posing a laceration hazard to the user. It is recommended that consumers not use either knife model and contact GiantMouse for a full refund or free repair (including free shipping) upon receipt of the returned item(s).
GiantMouse will not require consumers show proof of purchase. Consumers will receive a pre-paid shipping label from the company to return the recalled knife(s). GiantMouse is also contacting all known consumers who purchased the recalled knives.
