Costco June Same-Store Sales Up 7.0%

Costco Wholesale Corporation reported net sales of $4.28 billion for the five weeks ended July 6, 2003, an increase of 11 percent from $3.85 billion in the same five-week period of the prior fiscal year.

For the first 44 weeks of its 2003 fiscal year ended July 6, 2003, the Company reported net sales of $34.95 billion, an increase of 9 percent from $32.00 billion during the comparable period of the prior fiscal year.
