Converse and Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) have collaborated on three Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 reworks. Each shoe is inspired by Carhartt’s workwear legacy. The low-top sneakers all come in a different one of WIP’s utilitarian fabrics: drill, canvas and ripstop.
The workwear influence is acknowledged in subtle details including triple stitching on the eye row and heel counter, red accents on the outsole, and premium cotton woven laces.
The sneakers are available in three different color-ways: brown, white and Carhartt WIP’s iconic tiger camouflage print. The collaboration is dropping on June 1 from the Carhartt WIP web store, Converse’s online store and other select retailers.
