Construction of the long-awaited Bass Pro Shops at Sayreville, NJ, is scheduled to begin before the end of 2023, according to a report from mycentraljersey.com.
“Bass Pro Shops has told us it will be the largest, single-level Bass Pro Shops in the country,” Kevin Polston, project executive with North American Properties, the property developer, told the publication.
Construction is expected to take 20-to-22 months, with supply chain issues delaying scheduled progress by six months.
Plans for Bass Pro to anchor the $2.5 billion waterfront mixed-use community project, Riverton, were first announced in 2013.
