Columbia Sportswear Company hired Tom Gyles as SVP, global distribution network, overseeing North America and Europe wholesale, retail and e-commerce company-owned distribution operations. He is also accountable for the company’s global third-party logistics network, strategy and operations, including 3PL partnerships in the Asia Pacific.
Gyles has over 20 years of logistics and distribution network experience across several industries. He spent the last ten years working in the apparel industry with PVH Corp. and Gap, Inc. His past titles include SVP, international logistics and distribution, PVH Corp.; and regional general manager, Eastern U.S. and Asia logistics, Gap Inc.
While living in Toronto, Shanghai and New York, and, most recently, Hong Kong, Gyles was accountable for logistics and distribution operations supporting retail, wholesale, online, and franchise businesses for multiple brands.
Gyles’ experience includes company-owned and operated and 3PL-managed facilities. He also led a 3PL business in Canada.
Gyles is based in Ontario, Canada, and reports to Lisa Kulok, EVP and chief supply chain officer of Columbia Sportswear Company.
