Columbia Sportswear Company hired Cory Long as president of the Sorel brand. Most recently, Long was the global general manager and chief global merchant of DC Shoes. He also has leadership experience at Mitchell & Ness, Asics, Supra, and Converse.
“We are delighted to have Cory join the Sorel family,” said Craig Zanon, SVP of emerging brands. “His strength of leadership and consumer-champion mindset will be key in fueling the next era of Sorel’s growth.”
Long’s position takes effect in December 2023. In June, Mark Nenow resigned as president of Sorel to focus on his health.
