Columbia Sportswear Company has signed a license agreement with C.O. Lynch Enterprises for the design, manufacture and marketing of a new line of hunting and fishing waders, as well as ankle-fit rubber boots. The collection will debut in select specialty and sporting goods retailers in fall 2005.

“C.O. Lynch is a premier manufacturer of waders and rubber footwear, and has an excellent reputation for quality and value,” said Tim Boyle, Columbia's President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are extremely pleased to partner with them in order to extend Columbia's authentic hunting and fishing collection.”

While waders complement Columbia's outdoor product, the production and distribution of these items are highly specialized. Therefore, Columbia opted to pursue a license agreement rather than design and manufacture the collection in house.

“We're extremely excited to partner with a great brand like Columbia Sportswear,” said David W. Peterson, National Sales Manager for C.O. Lynch Enterprises. “We look forward to building a comprehensive line of products that help maintain the quality and performance that are currently represented in Columbia's hunting and fishing collection.
