Club Ride founder Mike Herlinger has taken back the CEO title following the departure of Scott Montgomery, who had fulfilled the role at the Sun Valley, ID-based cycling apparel company since mid-2011.
“I have taken the reigns back as CEO, so the position is filled,” Herlinger wrote in an email late Monday. “We are hiring a director of sales.”
Montgomery said he thoroughly enjoyed helping grow Club Ride, which Herlinger founded seven years ago to create cycling apparel that could also be worn around town.
“Tis was my first full on start up,” Montgomery said. “It has been hard work but very satisfying and I am very proud of what our team accomplished. Thanks to all the staff, dealers, editors, and believers in our direction. We could not have done it without you.”
