Cloudveil promoted James Samuel to general manager of the brand.
Samuel, previously director of global sales for Cloudveil, comes to the GM position with more than a decade of experience in the industry and a longstanding relationship with the Cloudveil staff, sales force and partners.
Samuel will oversee spring 2010 servicing for Cloudveil and remain an employee of Spyder Active Sports while Cloudveil transitions to new ownership at Windsong Brands LLC, a Connecticut-based PE firm. Spyder announced yesterday it had sold Cloudveil to Windsong Brands.
My role will be focusing on a smooth transition in terms of delivery and dealer service for the Spring 2010 line from Cloudveil, Samuel stated.
