Cloudveil, producer of mountain apparel, announced they were hiring Kevin Cox of Alpine Exposure in the North Central region and Michael Schmidt and Bill Bruzzese of Velocity Sales in the Northeast territory.
This will be Kevin Coxs second stint with Cloudveil having been a rep with the company before. “Kevin is still the true road warrior. He spends face-to-face time with his dealers and provides a level of service not often experienced in todays market,” said David Mahoney, Cloudveil Sales Manager. Kevin Cox and Alpine Exposure represent Western Mountaineering, Mountain Khakis, LEKI and McNett presently.
The addition of Velocity Sales in the Northeast further proves Cloudveils central positioning in the outdoor and snow markets. Velocity Sales currently represents Mdshus, Sugoi, Nikwax, Katadyn, Karhu, K2, Telemark, Garmont USA, Bridgedale Socks, and Atlas Snowshoe Co.
“We were really pleased when the offer came to join the Cloudveil team,” said Michael Schmidt. “since the inception of out agency, authentic mountain brands have been the cornerstone of our business model.”
Cloudveil will debut its expanded Spring 2009 line at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in August.
