Fitness franchise CKO Kickboxing is set to open its first kickboxing gym in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami. The cross-training gym is in pre-sale mode and will offer discounts to new members during the soft launch opening. The gym will hold kickboxing classes soon.
Located at 151 SW 7th Street in Miami, the 4,200-square-foot gym features 70 heavy bags and is open seven days a week. The gym is owned by franchisees Fernando and Angela Andrade.
“Since we moved to Miami my wife and I looked at all other fitness activities in the area, but none of them offered what CKO Kickboxing did. We wanted to have fun while having a full body workout that we could enjoy together,” said Fernando Andrade, who moved with his wife and co-franchisee from Brooklyn to Miami in 2014.
“I joined CKO Bay Ridge, out of Brooklyn, NY in 2012. There, I quickly became addicted to this workout. Even though I have always exercised and played soccer, through CKO I found a comprehensive workout that is quick, effective, and one that I can enjoy with my wife,” he added.
