The China Golf-PGA Merchandise Show (CGS), a national golf merchandise event organized by Reed Guanghe Exhibitions and China Golf Association (CGA), and in partnership with PGA of America, will relocate to Shanghai from its current location in Beijing for the 2017 show.
The three-day event, taking place March 17-19, 2017, will provide a platform for every segment of the sport to showcase the industry’s newest and most technical products and brand releases from China and abroad.
Shanghai, a major economic hub, is home to one of China’s largest golfing populations – accounting for nearly 300,000 players in Shanghai city proper and neighboring cities in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.
The CGS 2017 edition will be located at the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing, where it will boast a total exhibition area of 13,500 square meters, showcase 500 exhibitor brands and open its show floor to over 15,000 visitors.
“Although China’s golf industry still faces its share of challenges, we maintain an optimistic attitude about the industry as a whole, while continually investing our resources and focusing on future successful editions,” said Josephine Lee, GM, Reed Guanghe Exhibitions.
VP of the China Golf Association Wang Liwei added, “As a top leisure sport, we believe that golf will ride the wave of Shanshan’s Olympic victory. And in accordance with the 13th Five Year Plan of Sport, we hope to increase the sport’s popularity nationwide.”
This will mark the show’s 16th edition.
