Adams attributed his success to great product and improved merchandising. He sold more racks to more retailers in 2009, which allowed the brand to have a stronger presence in his key accounts.
“The CTR line has also grown my business,” Adams said. “We are the alternative
and doing a better job than our competitors at cold weather innovations.
Adams narrowly passed veteran Chaos representative, Marty Roth in New England (ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI) for second. Marty has been with Chaos for over 5 years and thoroughly represents the brand in key resorts and retailers in New England- her other lines include: Descente, DNA and Neve. In a third place tie were the ‘Accessory Gals, Sherry Krum and Chris Parsons for the East Coast-Mid Atlantic territory with ‘Best and Associates in the Rocky Mountain Region (CO, WY, UT, NM). ‘Accessory Gals are new to the Chaos roster for 2009 and are taking the job seriously-the east coast seaboard is now covered. Best and Associates, had taken the title for the previous two years and it appears other sales team members were anxious to wear the Mayors ribbon this year.
Sam Adam lives in Seattle Washington he has been in the industry for over 25+ years. Adams group has been with the Ski Top lines: Chaos, CTR-Chaos Thermal Regulation and Moon Shadow since the brands came to the United States twelve years ago. The family owned and operated manufacturing facility is housed in Montreal, Canada. Adams has built the Pacific Northwest territory into one of the top territories in the country.
Chaos is fortunate to have nationwide sales strength. This close competition made for an exciting final count. Our national team is a tight knit family— pardon the pun. We are glad to award a prize each year for all the hard work and dedication of these groups. Again we are so fortunate. Sales are up again this season-thanks to this great synergy, explains Gary Supple, US Director of Sales.
