Montreal-based Chaos Headwear will transfer their Rocky Mountain business from Best and Associates to Hoyt & Company, Inc.
The official transfer will be January 1, 2017. The two groups have been working hard to ensure a smooth transfer and to support territory goals. Best and Associates joined Chaos in 1998 and have helped develop the brand with positive sales results in the U.S. under national sales director Gary Supple.
“We can’t thank the Bests enough for their years of devotion and brand commitment,” said Supple. “They have helped transform a small Canadian family-owned operation into a worldwide headwear leader…The Bests will be missed, but we are excited with the new opportunity to start up with Hoyt Co.”
Hoyt & Company will take over responsibilities for Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming and Utah. Under the helm of Patrick Hoyt, Nick Patston and Ferd Torres, Hoyt & Company has been a premier accessory agency for specialty dealers in the Rocky Mountain Region for over 20 years. They service the ski, outdoor, hook and bullet, gift, and tactical markets. The company’s current brands include Optic Nerve Eyewear, Suunto Watches, and Propper Apparel, with the recent addition of Chaos and CTR.
“We have a solid network of dealers we work with and Chaos/CTR is a perfect fit for our group. We all love to ski, bike, hike and explore,” Hoyt said, “and our kids keep us out there in all kinds of headwear.”
