Champs Sports has signed National Football League star players Tiki Barber of the New York Giants and Ronde Barber of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as spokesmen for the athletic specialty retailer. The exclusive retail deal calls for the brothers — identical twins — to be integrated into targeted marketing programs, including advertising, in-store visual graphics and personal appearances at Champs Sports stores and events.
“The association with two of the game’s best players strengthens Champs Sports position as the leading sports lifestyle retailer in the mall,” said Ron Halls, president and chief executive officer of Champs Sports.
