Chaco has launched a new, highly interactive web site at www.Chacousa.com.
The site features a unique user content-driven platform that encourages fans to upload their adventures via photos and videos to the Chaco-sphere. Within the Chaco-sphere fans can upload and tag photos and videos that tell their story to Chaco-sphere galleries. Chaco fans can create a personal profile with screen name that includes a profile picture, bio, and a list of all uploads to date. Fans can also upload product-specific photos and videos to product pages, read unfiltered Tweets and Facebook posts in real-time, and read and post product reviews.
According to Whitney Conner, marketing manager for Chaco, “Chaco fans are fanatical! Chacousa.com has now become the portal for our loyal following. Right in the heart of our website is a place for fans to share by telling stories, asking advice, and posting photos and videos.”
In recognition of its fans' dedicated loyalty, Chaco has offered them a new title: Chaconians. The site is as devoted to the Chaconians as the Chaconians are to the brand. The site provides an opportunity for Chaconians to learn about and purchase footwear and accessories through a streamlined, personable and informative shopping process. Chaco has also enlisted its Chaconians to post their thoughts on all Chaco products as a way to encourage ownership of the website. Lastly Chaconians can explore ways to repair their well-loved sandals through the company's unique ReChaco program.
