SnowSports Industries America announced that CGPR will continue to spearhead public relations efforts for its Winter Feels Good and Winter Trails programs. Located in Marblehead, MA, CGPR is an established public relations firm that specializes in consumer goods, winter sports and the outdoor industry. The company helped SIA launch Winter Feels Good in 2003.

Winter Feels Good is a public awareness campaign that educates consumers about the health, fitness and social benefits of snow sports. Now in its 11th year, Winter Trails offers consumers an opportunity to experience snowshoeing and/or cross country skiing free. The two programs are aligned to motivate participation in snow sports and to offer an activation program that offers easy access to winter sports activities outdoors. Winter Trails Day is Saturday, January 7, 2006.

“We are pleased to continue working with CGPR on these programs,” said Mary Jo Tarallo, director of Education and Special Projects for SIA. “The company’s expertise, especially in the area of media relations, helped establish Winter Feels Good two years ago and their efforts heightened awareness of Winter Trails substantially last year in the national media.”

SIA announced last week that Stanwood & Partners had been retained to handle public relations for the association’s trade show and business products. “CGPR and Stanwood bring excellent credentials to the association, and we look forward to working with both companies this year,” commented SIA President David Ingemie.
