CenterStone Technologies, Inc. reported that Ogio, of Bluffdale, Utah, is the newest client to select the company’s iVendix software application. iVendix will provide Ogio with a business-to-business (B2B) online ordering solution for more than 2,000 of their retail dealers and sales reps in North America. When Ogio goes “live” later this year, dealers and sales reps will be able to view automated catalogs, check on the availability of product, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders using iVendix since it is accessible 24/7 via the Web.

“We're proud of our ability to design and build great products,” says OGIO CFO/VP of operations Gary Bowen. “Now, we want to take our service to the next level by making it easier for buyers to purchase OGIO products 24/7. CenterStone's business-to-business order management system is readily adaptable to all of our specialty retailers, whether in golf, outdoor, or action sports. We look forward to building the OGIO brand through CenterStone's exceptional services.”

Tom Detmer, chief executive officer of CenterStone Technologies, commented, “Ogio understands the value of the specialty retail distribution channel to the building of a world-class consumer brand. It is the specialty retailers – rather than the big-box stores – that truly support, promote and protect a company’s brand identity. Look at all the successful brands in the apparel, footwear and hard goods markets, and all the great ones started out in specialty retail. Ogio understands the importance of this distribution channel, and wants to maintain this as a distinct, strong and vibrant channel for its products. And so we are very excited that Ogio selected CenterStone to help them accomplish this by providing their dealers with our B2B e-commerce solution. We interact with hundreds of specialty retailers every day, and we’ve heard from them that they want to conduct business with Ogio at their convenience on a 24/7 basis using the CenterStone solution. Our iVendix solution delivers a large and extensive user community that is continuing to grow at a very rapid pace. And it is the adoption rate by this user community that will drive the ROI for Ogio and will help them continue to grow their brand in the specialty retail channel,” Detmer said.
