Cascade Designs, the parent of MSR, Therm-a-Rest, Platypus, SealLine, PackTowl, and Varilite, hired David Fee as VP of sales and marketing, North America/Pac Rim.
Fee is responsible for driving sales and marketing strategy for NAPR across all of Cascade Design’s product categories and channels, ensuring alignment across departments and collaborating on forecasting, resource planning and budget strategy.
Fee is a 25-year outdoor industry veteran who has worked with Castelli Cycling, Bowtech Archery, Inc., Garmont NA, Ford Motor Company, Yakima Products, among others. In his most recent role as U.S. general manager at Castelli, Fee managed its U.S. operations for both its global cycling apparel brands. Before that, he was the senior vice president of sales and marketing at Bowtech Archery across three locations. Fee’s other roles include global vice president of sales and marketing, Benchmade Knives; president, Garmont NA; and senior director of North America sales, Yakima Products.
