Cascade Designs, the parent company of Therm-a-Rest, MSR, Platypus, SealLine, PackTowl, and Varilite, has appointed Jim Osgood as the company’s newest president of North America and the Pacific Rim (N.A.P.R.). Osgood will bring more than 30 years of executive leadership, strategy and operations experience to the position, which begins March 29.
Osgood previously served as CEO, President and Board Chairman of Klean Kanteen. Before his time at Klean Kanteen, Osgood founded Slickrock Concepts. His broad range of experience, positions him to serve Cascade Designs well in this critical role.
Osgood puts an emphasis on promoting responsible business practices and currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for 1% for the Planet. He is an avid skier, snowboarder, cyclist, and triathlete, of which add relevant personal experience to his new role at Cascade.
