Cardo Systems hired Erika Gurnett as its new sales manager for outdoor sports in the U.S. and Canada, timed with the company “expanding its footprint in North America.”

Gurnett will oversee and build awareness with outdoor retail partners across the U.S. and Canada, working directly with specialty retail stores, buying groups, national accounts, and e-commerce platforms to drive business for Cardo’s Packtalk Outdoor Communicator. This device allows wireless communication between up to 15 people with a range of up to three miles for all outdoor activities.

“We are excited to see what Erika can accomplish in her new role,” said Jess Long, the sales and business development director for outdoor North America for Cardo. “She is a talented and driven individual who is passionate about helping us grow the outdoor business for Cardo.”

Gurnett will also help develop Cardo’s ambassador network and work with adaptive sports programs, ski schools and instructors to drive Cardo’s product across consumer and retail channels. She joins Cardo after spending the past three years as a U.S. sales manager with LeBent, an Australian company specializing in technical socks and apparel. She has worked in sales for over a decade and based in San Clemente, CA.
