Todd Hido, the renowned American contemporary photographer, takes us on a journey through California’s West Coast, photographing Woolrich’s S/S 2018 apparel collection.

Hido’s collaboration with Woolrich has sentimental value. “I was in my twenties and [getting my Masters] at the California College of Arts and Crafts. I was asked to be the assistant to one of my mentors, John Goodman, in a Woolrich advertisement in their Pennsylvania Mill. It was a memorable experience, and I am now honored to have had the chance to be the person behind the camera [for the S/S18 Apparel campaign].

The landscape is shown through a nostalgic filter. Sandy shades are paired with the waterproof laminated cotton Prescott Parka, and the clean and streamlined silhouette of the Charlotte Bomber. The collection also includes the men’s Pacific Jacket featuring Thermore eco down, an adjustable hood and waterproof zip fastenings; the Military Vest and the GTX 3 in 1 Mountain Parka, with a 90/10 detachable down feather lining.
