Cannondale has appointed Nick Larsen as the company’s new global creative director. Dennis Kim has been appointed marketing director and Katie McManus becomes senior manager for North American marketing.
“The Cannondale brand is focused on innovation and performance leadership that delivers a great cycling experience to our riders,” said Brian Immel, vice president of global marketing, Cycling Sports Group (CSG). “Nick brings his unique design aesthetic and experience in creating and building progressive cycling brands, while Dennis has significant experience building marketing strategy for performance brands. Together Nick and Dennis will bring a fresh creative energy to the Cannondale brand.”
Larsen was the creative engine behind the Fabric and Charge brands, where he leveraged his distinct design perspective to produce a range of innovative new accessories and bikes. Jeremiah Boobar, director, suspension, Parts & Accessories for CSG, will take the helm of the Fabric and Charge businesses and continue to lead suspension and component development for Cannondale.
Kim joins Cannondale from the Sugoi and Sombrio cycling apparel brands where he was responsible for global product development and marketing before being promoted to general manager.
Since joining CSG in 2012, McManus has progressed through a variety of marketing roles in the North America Marketing team, rising from her original role in events management to more recently overseeing advertising, social media and promotions for the region. Moving forward, McManus will work with Larsen and Kim on bringing the Cannondale brand to life through digital campaigns, events and demo activity in North America.
