Canada Goose, in partnership with Australian retail group Brand Collective, is entering Australia with plans to open stores in Melbourne and Sydney later this year. In addition, Canada Goose will launch an e-commerce platform and implement wholesale distribution plans for the region.

Canada Goose recently reported its plans to more than double its retail footprint by the end of fiscal 2028, primarily focusing on Mainland China, the U.S. and Japan. Canada Goose operates over 50 stores worldwide.

Canada Goose’s partnership with Brand Collective is its first foray into the luxury market. It has distribution partnerships with Superdry, Hushpuppy and Reebok.

Brand Collective CEO Eric Morris said, “Partnering with a world-class luxury brand like Canada Goose fills us with great pride. Canada Goose is renowned for its experiential approach and captivating storytelling, immersing consumers in its heritage and empowering them to embrace the world around them. With Brand Collective’s unique expertise in bringing brands to life, Australians can now engage with everything that Canada Goose has to offer in an unfiltered way.”

Canada Goose chairman and CEO Dani Reiss added, “I’m thrilled to be expanding our presence in Australia, bringing Canada Goose to even more consumers. Australia is a world-renowned destination for luxury, and we’ve seen how strongly our brand is resonating in the market. With our long-term strategy in place and an expert partner in Brand Collective, I look forward to this next chapter.”
