Canada Goose opened its first retail location in California at South Coast Plaza.
The location features for the first time a Snow Room, which enables customers to test jackets in a simulated snow environment—a first in the U.S.—at temperatures as low as negative 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
For this location, Canada Goose partnered with artist, Winnie Truong whose artwork for the space, titled Zephyr, is a stop-motion animation created from cut paper displayed in the Snow Room.
Additional illustrations and sculptures by Inuit artisans are shown throughout the store that embody people and the planet.
