Canada Goose raised more than $45,000 in 2009 from the sales of its Polar Bears International (PBI) Expedition parka to support PBI (www.polarbearsinternational.com), an organization dedicated to conserving the world’s polar bears.

For this fall, Canada Goose is expanding this custom parka line to now include the Chilliwack for men, women and children. The Chilliwack bomber features bomber length for exceptional mobility, coyote fur ruff surrounding a two way adjustable tunnel hood, two high-handwarmer pockets with fleece lining and elasticized rib-knit cuffs and waistband.

In addition to the Chilliwack Bomber for men, women and children, Canada Goose will include the Expedition parka again this year.
CEO of Canada Goose Dani Reiss has served as a member of the U.S. and Canadian PBI Boards of Directors since 2007, with the two organizations working together on a number of initiatives.

Canada Goose donated $25 for each PBI parka sold in 2009, the sale of which also included a membership to the organization.  Canada Goose developed an official Polar Bears International uniform for board members, scientists and other high profile supporters.  The uniform consists of the original extreme weather Expedition parka with an official PBI Arctic Ambassador badge along with the Nomad storm pants and mitts from Canada Goose.  The Expedition parka was available at retail locations worldwide.
