Camping World Holdings Inc. announced that it has closed on the acquisition of Coates RV with locations in Hugo and Cloquet in Minnesota.
“For over 80 years, Coates RV has earned its customers’ business by providing quality products and service backed with a highly experienced team and reliable RV care,” said Marcus Lemonis, chairman of Camping World Holdings. “Attention to detail has made them leaders in the RV industry and we look forward to the team, many of which have over 10 years’ experience, joining our network of RV Supercenters.”
The acquisition of Coates RV is in line with the company’s future RV dealership growth plans and the company expects to continue expanding in Minnesota and other new markets throughout the country this year; including three additional Gander RV locations in Forest Lake, Hermantown and Baxter, opening spring and summer of 2019.
“The two Coates RV locations will allow us to expand our footprint in the state of Minnesota while continuing to deliver a high standard of customer service and integrity in the industry,” said Brent Moody, President of Camping World Holdings. “We currently operate a location in Monticello, MN, that specializes in RV sales, service, and accessories. With the Coates RV locations, we increase our presence in the state to three RV Supercenters, and we look forward to the expansion of the Gander RV dealerships in Forest Lake, Hermantown and Baxter.”
