CamelBak has poured more than 1.5 million disposable bottles of water at music festivals so far in 2015, the fifth year of its #DitchDisposable campaign, in which it partners with music festivals across the country to help people ditch their old habit of using disposable bottled water.
Between 2011 and 2014, CamelBak helped pour more than 5 million disposable bottles of water at festivals including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Hangout, Outside Lands and Firefly.
Each water station is equipped with a volume tracker as well as UV and carbon filtration to ensure the festival goers receive the freshest water to stay properly hydrated while enjoying their favorite artists. CamelBak has poured the equivalent of more than 1.5 million disposable bottles of water so far this year and expects to add to that tally next month when it will be providing free, freshly filtered water at one of the year’s biggest and hottest events, Austin City Limits Music Festival, which takes place in Texas.
