Camber Outdoors, the organization that elevates and accelerates women’s leadership and participation in the outdoors, is launching its CEO Pledge Advisory Council in Seattle tomorrow.

Leaders and executive-level liaisons from the organization’s Peak Partners Arc’teryx, Burton, Patagonia and REI will come together to share successes, tackle challenges and lay the groundwork for the future priorities of the  Camber Outdoors CEO Pledge.

“We’re thrilled to convene our Peak Partner companies for this first-annual strategy session,” said Deanne Buck, executive director of Camber Outdoors. “This is an incredible opportunity to share thought leadership and best practices that will inform and shape our work around the Camber Outdoors CEO Pledge.”

The CEO Pledge launched two and a half years ago with support from 12 Camber Outdoors partners. Today, more than 65 active-outdoor industry CEOs have signed the pledge, making a formal commitment to women’s leadership as a strategic business priority. By ensuring the active-outdoor industries stay competitive in attracting and retaining top-tier talent, the CEO Pledge community is working toward a stronger, more sustainable industry — and increasing profits, expanding the product market, and driving innovation along the way.
