Callaway Golf Company has promoted Patrice Hutin to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Hutin, who previously was the Company's Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Advertising, will report to Callaway Golf CEO and Chairman Ron Drapeau.

“Patrice has been an extremely valuable contributor to the success of Callaway Golf over the past three years,” Mr. Drapeau said. “This promotion is a recognition of his contributions and abilities across several vital areas of our business.”

As President and Chief Operating Officer of Callaway Golf, Mr. Hutin's responsibilities include:

  • Product management, development and supply for all golf club products for all of the Company's brands;
  • Marketing, sales and administrative support functions worldwide for the Callaway Golf(R) and Odyssey(R) Golf brands;
  • International distribution for The Top-Flite Golf Company – the new wholly owned subsidiary of Callaway Golf – including the Top-Flite(R), Strata(R) and Ben Hogan(R) brands; and
  • Tour operations for all Callaway Golf and Top-Flite brands worldwide.

Mr. Hutin will work in concert with Top-Flite President and Chief Operating Officer Bob Penicka to capitalize on strategic opportunities across all of the Company's brands.

Mr. Hutin has more than 19 years of experience in the golf industry. He joined Callaway Golf in 2000 as Managing Director of Callaway Golf Europe, LTD, the Company's wholly owned European subsidiary. Last year he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Advertising for Callaway Golf. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Hutin had served as president of Taylor Made Golf and Cleveland Golf.
