Golf Entertainment International Limited, the licensee for TopGolf Game Centers in the United States, has entered into a “preferred partner agreement” with Callaway Golf Company. The arrangement grants Callaway Golf preferred marketing and promotion rights at GEI's TopGolf Game Centers.

Rick Grogan, Executive Chairman of GEI, commented, “We are delighted that the company that revolutionized golf club design, Callaway Golf, has teamed up with the company seeking to revolutionize how people play the game, Golf Entertainment International. Our TopGolf technology is an idea with global potential. The game meets the needs of both the serious golfer and the complete novice, and a TopGolf facility is a place of fun and entertainment as well as instruction and learning! Our association with Callaway Golf will enhance our customers' experience, and surely will provide Callaway Golf with a new route and important access to many new customers as we roll out TopGolf across America.” Callaway Golf has also made a minority investment in GEI.

“We strongly believe that the TopGolf concept is a very innovative way to both attract new players to the game of golf while also giving serious golfers another exciting forum in which they can pursue their passion,” said George Fellows, President and CEO of Callaway Golf. “TopGolf will attract those existing players who want to practice with a purpose using revolutionary technology that gives them instant feedback on their shots, and will also attract those golfers who want to play a game where they can match their golf skills against other golfers, but don't have the time to go to the golf course and play a full round.”
