Cabot Hosiery Mills has created the Darn Tough Vermont brand of All Weather Performance Socks. Cabot Hosiery Mills, with manufacturing facilities and offices located in Northern Vermont, is a family owned business that has over three generations of sock manufacturing experience. According to the company Darn Tough Vermont was launched to the public with “great enthusiasm” at the 2004 Vermont City Marathon and had an equally successful first industry trade show at the EORA show in Worcester, MA.
In its first staffing move, Darn Tough Vermont has hired industry veteran Roland Beliveau as the National Sales Manager and Director of Marketing. Said Roland, “What first sold me on what they were doing at Darn Tough Vermont is the quality of the product. They were hands down the best socks I had ever worn. It is this passion for quality, that the Cabots work towards each day, that made me want to be a part of Darn Tough Vermont” The company will make its national debut at the 2005 Winter Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City.
