Cabela's Inc. announced that Lynn P. Ferguson has resigned his position
as Senior Vice President of Retail Strategy and Real Estate Development
for family and personal reasons. Dennis Highby, Cabela's President and
Chief Executive Officer, will assume responsibility for retail strategy
and real estate development until a replacement for Ferguson is named.

“Lynn decided he needed to stay closer to California for family
reasons,” Highby said. “On behalf of the Company, I would like to wish
him well in his future endeavors.”

Ferguson had been Cabela's SVP of Retail Strategy and Real Estate
Development since only July 2007. Prior to joining Cabela's. Ferguson was
most recently the Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President
of National Recreational Properties, a direct-to-consumer real estate
and financial company. He previously served in senior retail and
marketing positions with Tower Records, Charles Schwab and Walt Disney.
He began his career in retail development with Hewlett-Packard and as
the founder of PAC West Design.
