MMP Enterprises Inc., based in Toronto, signed a purchase agreement to acquire the former Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s distribution center at 3200 Rd 101 in Sidney, NE. The news comes nearly four months after the announcement from Bass Pro Shops that the distribution center would be closed in order to meet their two-day shipping initiative.
The new company has estimated that over the next three years it will create 300 jobs, ranging from forklift operators to marketers and website developers.
