Snowsports Merchandising Corporation (SMC), the premier buying group of specialty ski and snowboard shops in the wintersports industry, announced Butternut Basin (dba Ski Butternut) has joined the group.
Ski Butternut, located in Great Barrington, MA, has been in buiness since the early 1960s.
“We’re proud to be associated with such a venerable institution, steeped in history and recognized as one of the most family friendly ski areas in the northeast,” stated SMC president, Tom Gately.
SMC is a buying group of 61 stockholder member businesses representing 155 storefronts nationwide. The member businesses primarily sell ski, snowboard and other snowsports-related equipment, apparel and accessories in specialty stores located throughout the United States.
