Donna Carpenter, CEO of Burton Snowboards, will be the featured speaker at Camber Outdoors’ (formerly OWIC) Thought-Leadership Keynote at Interbike.
The event will take place on Day 1 of the trade show, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at the Mandalay Bay, South Pacific C/D Ballroom in Las Vegas, NV.
“We are honored to provide a forum for Donna to share with other industry leaders and influencers the Burton story of how a strategic commitment to women’s leadership as a business imperative over 10 years ago has led to greater brand relevancy, growth, and sustainability,” said Deanne Buck, executive director of Camber Outdoors. “We are also looking forward to celebrating the launch of the new brand, as well as those leaders who have already signed the Camber Outdoors’ CEO Pledge in the cycling industry, and welcome those who want to learn more.”
In addition to Carpenter’s remarks, the event will also include the presentation of the 2016 Bicycling Industry Pioneering Woman and First Ascent awards. Previous winners of these awards, include Sally McCoy, former CEO of CamelBak; Jenn Dice, vice president of Business Network at PeopleForBikes and Sally Jewell, U.S. Secretary of the Interior.
