Howe Burch, former Senior Vice President of Sports Marketing & Communications at global sportswear brand Fila, has launched a new sports marketing and communications resource called t w e l v e.
Mr. Burch was at Fila since 1993 where he managed integrated sports marketing and communications programs for one of the world's leading athletic footwear and apparel brands.
While at Fila, Mr. Burch developed and implemented global product merchandising and marketing programs around some of the world's most renowned athletes including Grant Hill, Jennifer Capriati, Derek Jeter and Barry Bonds.
Mr. Burch's efforts surrounding the NBA's Hill resulted in one of the most successful product launches in the history of the athletic footwear industry. Mr. Burch was recognized by Advertising Age as one of its top 100 Marketers of the year for his role in the Grant Hill product launch.
Mr. Burch also successfully managed strategic sponsorship and licensing partnerships with the NBA, WNBA, ATP Tour, USTA and numerous other sports franchises and organizing bodies, and he structured strategic co-marketing initiatives with Fila and global brands including General Motors, Sprite, McDonald's and American Express.
