Brunton Publications, publishers of ClayShootingUSA and TrapShootingUSA magazines, has appointed John Bauer as marketing and sales director. Bauer will oversee all sales and marketing efforts in North America and contribute through editorial and photography.


“The addition of John to our publishing team is a major strategic move to expand our business in the coming years,” says Ben Brunton, publisher. “I've known John for many years and know that his deep passion for writing and photography will be a valuable asset to our publications.”


“I've been involved in the clay target sports since I was very young,” says 19X NSCA All-American and professional exhibition shooter, Scott Robertson. “I've yet to meet anyone who knows more about the shotguns, games, or simply the clay target business in general than J.B. In my opinion, this is great news for the entire clay shooting community.”


Prior to joining Brunton Publications, Bauer held positions at Federal Ammunition, Sigarms and most recently at Beretta USA, where he planned all major trade shows and shoots, recruited and built their world-class shooting team. Bauer is also a member of the NSCA Advisory Council and is a staunch supporter of youth shooting programs nationwide.
