Brunswick Corporation announced that it has promoted Katie Krasnewich to vice president – mergers and acquisitions, reporting to Peter G. Leemputte, senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Krasnewich most recently was director – business development for Brunswick, and has been instrumental in securing and completing several of the company's recent acquisitions. Krasnewich will be responsible for overall deal coordination and execution, which includes financial valuation, business justification and due diligence on merger and acquisition candidates across all Brunswick lines of business.

“Katie has significant financial and strategic skills that have served Brunswick well in prospecting and evaluating select growth opportunities throughout our operations,” Leemputte said. “Her background in corporate finance and knowledge of our industries will remain valued contributors to Brunswick's continued success with acquisitions.”

Krasnewich joined Brunswick in 2003 after three years with Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., where she served in corporate investment banking. Prior to that assignment, Krasnewich spent five years with Arthur Andersen. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is a certified public accountant.
