Brunswick Corporation named Danielle Brown as vice president – chief information officer, effective November 14. Brown succeeds Michael Schulz, who is retiring from Brunswick. She will report to Mark D. Schwabero, chairman and chief executive officer.
Brown joins Brunswick from DuPont, where she most recently led global IT transformation in preparation for the merger of DuPont and Dow Chemical. At Brunswick, Brown will have responsibility for the company’s information technology services, including IT structure and planning, emerging technologies, service delivery and execution as well as IT governance and compliance across Brunswick`s various functions and global operations.
“We are extremely pleased to have Danielle join our management team at Brunswick,” Schwabero said. “We look forward to leveraging her industry experience and knowledge as Brunswick continues to evolve and support our business strategy and customer requirements. In addition, her business insights and experience in analytics and IT talent development will make her a strong addition to the organization.
“Moving forward, Danielle will be building upon the fine work of Mike Schulz, who has led the Company’s efforts in this area for the past 14 years,” Schwabero added. “We wish Mike the best on his well-deserved retirement.”
