Brownells has announced the addition of Steve Denny to fill the newly created position of Law Enforcement Manager.
The company said it plans to expand their LE market involvement and product lines to meet the growing need for quality equipment combined with the personal attention and great customer service tradition that Brownells has used to establish itself as a leader in the firearm industry.
“Steve will be tasked with making our vision of an LE department a reality,” said President Pete Brownell. “While we’ve always worked closely with the LE community, we’ve never had a targeted effort and I know Steve can help us with that.”
Formerly with Taser, Crimson Trace, and Sig Sauer in LE sales management and the FBI as a Special Agent and Investigator, Denny’s widely varied experience gives him a unique view of the LE marketplace. At the FBI, Denny worked as a Special Agent and Senior Investigator for the Joint Terrorism Task Force in New Jersey and New York City and on several high profile cases including the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the investigation of the 9/11/01 attacks. In all of his positions he interacted closely with City, State, and Federal branches of Law Enforcement.
“We’re delighted to welcome Steve to the company as our Law Enforcement Manager,” said company CEO Frank Brownell, “the LE side of the business is an ever-growing segment and we felt it was time to bring someone on board that knows that side of the industry very well.”
