Brooks Running is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Hansons-Brooks Original Distance Project this week. The company sent out an infographic detailing the 10 years of races and athletes and other facts and promotions hosted on its social media accounts.

The infographic covers Brooks initial signing on as sponsor of the Hansons ODP in 2003, the same year Hansons ODP started a women's team to complement its already budding men's team as well as numerous wins over the years and renewed sponsorships by Brooks. The latest came in 2013, and extended its partnership through 2016.

Brooks stated on its blog: “Since 2003, we’ve been to U.S. and world championships, numerous marathons and even to the Olympics. We’ve seen frontrunners like Brian Sell, Desi Davila and Neely Spence-Gracey take podium spot after podium spot and we’ve witnessed the emergence of a distance team that’s competitive with the world’s best.”

Coach Kevin Hanson offered a quote, “Ten years ago, we happily partnered with Brooks because they were the only company that shared our vision. Today, the vision has become a reality and our partnership is something that we are extremely proud of. We will continue to strive to accomplish things in the sport that will shock others and we will know that Brooks will be every bit as excited because it could never happen without their continued support.”
