Brooks-Range Mountaineering Equipment, a manufacturer of high-quality backcountry and mountaineering equipment, has re-launched their website for an enhanced consumer experience.
“Brooks-Range has experienced phenomenal growth in the past year and the need for an updated website became imminent by the end of last year,” said Matt Brooks, president of Brooks-Range. “We are excited about our new website because it will give us an opportunity to better interact with our customers and vice-versa. The new blog will feature reports from those who are in the field and we think that readers will get hooked on their entries and gain a better understanding of how our products are used.”
The Brooks-Range Blog, “B-R Dispatch” will be written by industry veteran and professional writer, Megan Kopp. Megan is a professional writer specializing in travel, backpacking, hiking, trail running, cycling and paddling sports. She will blog about her outdoor adventures on a weekly basis for Brooks-Range. Guest bloggers will also contribute to round out her adventures and to appeal to a wide variety of readers. So far, Brooks-Range has enlisted guest bloggers to include: Donny Roth, a certified AMGA mounting guide and owner of Alpine Ambitions in Boulder, Colo., as well as Jim Donovan, director of the Silverton Avalanche School.
“We will continue to put a great deal of energy into providing our current retailers with the right tools they need to build their businesses and to cater to outdoor consumers who are looking for quality products that will keep them safe and comfortable in the great outdoors, but the website will be a terrific resource for those who do not have a local retailer that carries Brooks-Range gear,” continued Brooks.
