Brooks Sports Inc. announced Lisa Murray as its new Field Marketing Manager. Murray brings to Brooks more than 10 years of experience in the sports industry, working most recently for New Balance Athletic Shoe Inc.

Murray worked in the promotions department at New Balance where she spearheaded programs around key running events like the Chicago Marathon. She also has extensive experience working with specialty running retail stores across the country – a major focus of Brooks business. Murray is a native Washingtonian and graduated from the University of Washington in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication.

In her new role, Murray will manage Brooks integrated field marketing program in major running cities across the country.

“The goal of this new program is to create energy around the Brooks brand and integrate fresh sales and marketing initiatives into the field. Our field marketing program is planned to be the most innovative grassroots program in the industry and were excited to have someone with as much passion and experience as Lisa driving it,” says Craig Heisner, Vice President of Marketing for Brooks.
