Brine joined US Lacrosse in naming an unprecedented 34 lacrosse organizations to receive US Lacrosse Equipment Grants this fall. Brine will contribute equipment such as
sticks (player and goalie), full protective gear (including gloves, arm guards, shoulder pads), balls, and
bags for ten boys, girls and combination lacrosse programs.

Brine has been a donor of the Youth Equipment Grant Program with US Lacrosse for all of the six years
it’s been in existence. Recipients must be located in developing lacrosse areas throughout the country
and have demonstrated financial need in order to receive assistance.

“We are thrilled to donate equipment for players who wouldn’t have it otherwise. Through this
program, US Lacrosse grants equipment whose total retail values near $300,000, drastically helping to
make the sport a possibility in new markets,” said Mike Martin, Vice President of Marketing for Brine.

This year’s recipient of the Lance Holden Memorial Grant was the Kamiakin Braves Lacrosse Club. The
grant, named in honor of the former Lance Holden, a previous partner with Lax World and a leading
lacrosse retailer, is given to one new youth lacrosse program outside of the Mid-Atlantic area annually.
