Boxercraft Incorporated, a supplier of spiritwear, campus apparel, and licensed collegiate apparel based in Atlanta, announced the election of Charles A. Sutlief as the company’s new chief executive officer.
Sutlief will continue to expand and accelerate Boxercraft’s growth strategies to enhance the company’s leadership position in the apparel industry.
Sutlief brings more than 15 years of senior executive experience and will continue the company’s focus on innovative products and custom decoration.
“Boxercraft is one of America’s great apparel companies, with a proud history of supplying exciting spiritwear apparel to youth, teams, schools, and colleges. It’s a great honor to join its leadership team and have the opportunity to build on its success,” Sutlief said.
Founded in 1985, Boxercraft has grown from offering a single product to offering thousands of items across multiple product lines including boxers, fashion and team flannel pants, hoodies, T-shirts, and afghans.
“There is no company in the apparel industry with a stronger desire to work with our customers and provide them great products that are comfortable, fun to wear, and can be custom decorated,” Sutlief added. “More than ever, we want our customers to know how much we value their business and our commitment to deliver the high-quality decorated and blank apparel that should be expected from an industry leader.”
“Charles is exactly the right leader for Boxercraft,” said Patten Pettway, Jr., Partner at River Associates Investments, LLC. “His extensive apparel background and vision for Boxercraft’s role as the premiere service oriented company in the decorated spiritwear and licensed product markets will help shape Boxercraft as it continues its growth and expansion. And most importantly for anyone taking on the CEO role at Boxercraft, he is a natural fit with our corporate culture.”
