Boulder Outdoor Specialty Group Adds to Sales Team

The Boulder Outdoor Specialty Group, a collection of six outdoor industry brands, has added John Horsnell to its inside team of territory managers.


As a Midwest territory sales manager, John will be better able to address the specific, regional needs of his customers, elevating the level of service and value for the end-user. Working out of his office in Madison, WI, John will be tasked with assisting current clients and opening new accounts in ND, SD, MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, KY.


“As a member of our dedicated team of territory managers, John will have the tools, motivation, and brand knowledge to provide an exceptional level of support and service to his accounts,” said Kenny Ballard, president of the BOSG. “John’s extensive sales experience will truly be an asset to our family of brands and our sales team.  We’re excited to have him on board.”


As an employee and member of the BOSG team, John will take an active roll contributing to the companies’ overall strategic initiatives, assisting with product development and innovation, and enhancing the Boulder Group’s overall performance.


With an extensive sales history and years of experience working in outdoor retail and with industry rep group BP Associates out of St. Paul, MN, John brings a deep knowledge of the outdoor industry and the specific needs of his Midwest territory to his new position with the BOSG.

The Boulder Outdoor Specialty Group (BOSG), a collection of six cornerstone outdoor industry brands, has added Jim Farrow to its team of dedicated territory sales managers.

As a New England territory sales manager, Jim will be better able to address the specific, regional needs of his customers, elevating the level of service and value for the end-user. Working out of his office in Amherst, NH, Jim will be tasked with assisting current clients and opening new accounts in upstate NY, ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, and CT.


“As a member of our dedicated team of territory managers, Jim will have the tools, motivation, brand knowledge, and opportunity to excel and grow in his new position,” said Kenny Ballard, president of the BOSG. “His extensive experience in outdoor industry sales will be a great addition to our team. We’re excited to have him on board.”


As an employee and member of the BOSG team, Jim will take an active roll contributing to the companies’ overall strategic initiatives, assisting with product development and innovation, and enhancing the Boulder Group’s overall performance.


With an extensive sales history and years of experience representing Columbia Sportswear Mountainsmith, and Voile Telemark Equipment, Jim brings a deep knowledge of the outdoor industry and the specific needs of his New England territory to his new position with the BOSG.

As a Pacific Northwest territory sales manager, Brian will be better able to address the specific, regional needs of his customers, elevating the level of service and value for the end-user. Working out of his office in Olympia, WA, Brian will be tasked with assisting current clients and opening new accounts in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Arkansas.


“Brian’s previous outdoor sales experience and knowledge of the Pacific Northwest market will be a great addition to our team,” said Kenny Ballard, president of the BOSG. “By using a dedicated team of territory managers, the BOSG will be better able to put a variety of tools at Brian’s disposal to help him excel.”


As an employee and member of the BOSG team, Brian will take an active roll contributing to the companies’ overall strategic initiatives, assisting with product development and innovation, and enhancing the Boulder Group’s overall performance.


An avid skier, hiker, and cyclist, Brian brings a deep knowledge and lasting appreciation of the outdoors to his new roll with the BOSG. As an independent sales rep, Brian had previously provided Pacific Northwest sales support to Sierra Designs, Ultimate Direction, Gregory Packs, and Royal Robbins apparel.
